Kids' Chance Awareness Week was a Success!
- Governor John Bel Edwards declared November 8-12, 2021, LBF Kids’ Chance Awareness Week in Louisiana.
- Committee members prepared care packages for the current scholarship recipients. The packages included swag from some of our donors, gift cards to local restaurants, snacks, ball caps, koozies, phone stands, and lots of school supplies.
- LBF representatives, committee members, and some of the current and past students attended the Urban South Brewery Kids’ Chance meet and greet.
- Tyran, a first year LBF Kids’ Chance scholarship recipient, was awarded the Jim Hudak and Sally Silvia Scholarship from Kids’ Chance of America.
- Thank you to Lunsford Baskin & Priebe, PLLC, the premier Dean’s List sponsor, for committing to $5,000 a year for four years.
Kids’ Chance Awareness Week is a national initiative designed to highlight Kids’ Chance scholarship programs in 49 states across the United States.
