Louisiana Bar Foundation Congratulates all New Louisiana Lawyers Admitted to the Bar

LBF invites you to become an LBF Young Lawyer Fellow with a complimentary membership for the first year of practice. After the first year, it costs as little as $100 to be a Young Lawyer Fellow of the Foundation and donations are tax deductible.

Benefits of Fellowship include committee participation and leadership, professional development and networking, invitations to special events and meetings, participation in annual nominations for Louisiana's distinguished jurist, attorney, and professor awards, recognition of one's contribution to the profession, alliance with the Foundation's mission, and association with an organization directly impacting the legal profession.

Louisiana Bar Foundation is the state’s largest funder of civil legal aid. We partner with a trusted network of more than 70 organizations that lead community driven efforts to help families facing non-criminal, civil legal challenges. Our goal is to make sure that all Louisianans, regardless of their background or income level, have access to civil legal services that they need.

Through grants, we assist women, children, elderly, people with disabilities, newly unemployed, those facing loss of their homes, disaster victims, veterans and military families, and many others by providing services that go to the very heart of the health, safety, and security of many of our citizens and their families.
