Jock Scott Community Partnership Panel Grants

LBF's nine regional Community Partnership Panels (CPP) work to identify areas of need for LBF funding. The CPPs foster collaboration, respond to arising community needs, and encourage local involvement in the designation of grant funds. Each panel has an annual budget of $20,000. The panel submits funding recommendations to a subcommittee of the Grants Committee and then to the Board for final approval.

Current LBF grantees who are receiving funds under the Annual/Sustaining funding category may apply for CPP funding for new services or expansion of an existing service. If you are an LBF grantee who has been sunsetted from the Annual/Sustaining funding category, such as local supervised visitation centers, advocacy centers, Teen Courts, and CASAs, you are eligible for CPP funding and should contact your local CPP Chair.

The Jock Scott Community Partnership Panel Grant Program is for 501(c)(3) organizations in need of assistance to initiate or expand an activity which meets at least 1 of the following 3 criteria:

1) Provides direct legal services to the poor;
2) Provides law related education; and/or
3) Provides for the administration of justice.
